How long did it take for the Qur`an to be created?

الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِين

Alif-Lam-Ra. (These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings).These are the Verses of the Clear Book (the Quran that makes clear the legal and illegal things, legal laws, a guidance and a blessing).

Yusuf سورة يوسف 12:1

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran in order that you may understand.

Yusuf سورة يوسف 12:2

بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messengers). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the Quran), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought.
