   What does 'Fisabilillah' mean?

   Fisabilillah, is an Arabic word meaning 'For the sake of (or in the path) of Allah' (God) See the following broken up version:
Fi = for
sabil = the Sake of, (or in the path of)
illah = Allah (God)

   Ok, so what do you do for Fisabilillah?

   Our aim is to help increase the knowledge of Islam (the religion of peace) for all, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and help them achieve a better awareness of Islam. The word Islam means "submission to God", and the belief in a single God, all the prophets', and their original holy scriptures (i.e. from Adam, Moses, Jesus and the Final messenger Muhammed (Peace be Upon them)).
We do this by means of circulating our unique books which cover a huge range of subjects and are available completely free of charge to all.

   Free!!! so, what's the catch?

  Well actually there's no catch, we only request you pay for the posting and packaging (even that's minimal) if you can.

   Why?

  It is our greatest pleasure and privilege that we are able to serve Allah (God) by means of spreading the true message of Pure Islam.

   Who are you?

  Fisabilillah is a non-profit making charity (100% voluntary) set up to serve the people. Our aim and mission is to educate, strengthen and unite the people, besides raising awareness against the negative misconceptions of Islam in the mainstream media by spreading the blessings of Islam through the guidance of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah (ways of the prophet).
We do not represent any particular sect. Our publications follow the fundamental teachings of the Prophet (Ahle Sunnah wa Jamah) in its prestine purity as par with the Qur'an. Our publications do not neglect any particular school of thought, but rather promote what is held as permissible and common understanding amongst them all.

   How do you do it?

  We are not an extension for any particular group or sect, nor are we funded by any Islamic group, organization or government body. All our projects are financed by the people for the people. We accept donations and would appreciate any help.

   What kind of help are you looking for?

  As you can imagine, for every book published, we have put in great effort to make sure that every minor as well as major detail is 100%(humanly) accurate, the books have been typed and designed from scratch and each title has its own different quality.
You can help by as little as telling others of this work in order to benefit them as well as yourselves, or as much as donating your work or time in order to spread this beneficial knowledge.

   Why do your books have no authors name? What are you hiding?

  The names of individual authors is not mentioned in our publications because all of our topics are based on the content of the Qur'an (the word of God) and Sunnah (way of the Prophet), therefore, we cannot claim to be the authors of such work, so you also have full permission to reproduce or translate our books for free distribution to propagate the true message. Our only condition is that any text is not altered and information is kept in context.
